Stygian Leviathan - original by caramitten Stygian Leviathan - original by caramitten
This was the original black and white version of 'Stygian Leviathan', commissioned by White Wolf games over two years ago. I colored it just for shits 'n giggles a while back, and the file is in my gallery here somewhere, but I'm planning on redoing it in a way that doesn't--ahem--suck. ;)

This is great, did you know they discovered the real leviathan recently. It is supposed to be 40-60ft. and have teeth the size of a ruler.

ooh, I love this! I love how you designed this leviathan. The teeth are a great feature. I also love the tendrils on its face and neck. It shows that it's sensitive to its surroundings. One suggestion however: The eye is a bit far back on the head. You probably did that on purpose, and it looks great, but to get the full whale and/or monster affect, perhaps consider putting it under the second tendril from the snout, the second one on top of the head. idk, just a suggestion. Whale eyes are more around where you placed the eye I guess. Anyways, lovely shading, lovely idea, beautiful leviathan!!
