Artist's Comments

Ink, watercolor, digital color base (hence the saturation) for a portrait of my latest 'character', Requiem. His concept is that of a denizen sharing the world of the Golems, which is pretty much an interdimensional crossroads and machinery dump that sucks in and incorporates living creatures from across the universe as well as dead space ships. The Golems themselves are some of the few 'native' surviving creatures.

Much inspiration from Japanese mythology used for this fella.

I like all of the spiky bits, and the way the fur/hair falls.

Love the way you drew his feet and hands, and the knots of hair around his neck are a neat idea I've never seen before. :D

Great pic! The hair has a nice dry, earthy feel to it.

But I especially like the story; I would enjoy seeing some shots of this Golems "crossroad".

You think your able to label the Hiero sound? You still haven't found a comparable variable

Well, he's an expressive sort of creature...What's going on with his paw nearest to us, though? Something a little awkward about those digits. I like the colors you chose. I find it impressive that you are able to take a typical subject and produce such a unique image.
